There used to be very helpfull discussion/message boards on MSN, specially the discussion about personal finances. What happened to these boards? Does anyone know if there is an equally good site hosting the similar boards.

I’ve been in the National Guard for 14 years. Never been active except for a deployment to europe for 9 months, I’ve been recruiting for 6 years.

The people I work with… I’ve never met such arrogant, condescending azzholes in my entire life! It really never ends. I just got a new E-6 on my team, this guy is fresh off active duty and into an AGR slot, what a completely condescending, arrogant and loud prson this guy is. I’ve already had to pull him aside and berate him for acting so inappropriatly. This guy’s an E-6 and he’s building a $350,000 house in one of the most exclusive areas of town, he’s got a Jeep, ATV, the biggest Toyota Tundra you ever saw and a 4 week time share… Of course acts like a financial adviser when he speaks of personal finances. If this guy is good at one thing, it’s sending people into a rage simply by way of his condescending nature.

The military raises little monsters into full grown monsters that can’t relate to civilian life and how to conduct ones self in a regular, non frat like environment.

My supervisor is a narcissistic sociopath addicted to sex. He’s the most disgusting human I have ever met, I’ve gut deer I had more respect for. I’ve known this guy for 6 years, in that time he has gone through: 2 wives, 2 newborns to each, 3 luxury vehicles, 3 homes in the swankest part of town, 1 trip to jail for pulling a gun, once on his wife and once in a bar with his GSA parked outside (his supervisor covered them both up. He sells himself for sex on craigslist in his spair time. He is a very angry, truly evil personwith no value to society.

These types of boys flourish in the military.

Good lord deliver me from this DoD work environment into the hand of the private sector as soon as you can!
